New promotional images for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl hint at a potential new Mythic Pokemon coming in remakes.
Pokemon Shiny Diamond and Shiny Pearl are now less than two weeks away, but speculation around the remakes continues to grow. Recently a new Japanese trailer for Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shiny pearl was released which gave fans another glimpse of what to expect from the remakes. Still, questions remain as to what other gameplay elements will be included and what Pokemon will return.
While not all Pokémon have been revealed, many fans have already started planning their Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shiny pearl teams because of their enthusiasm for the remakes. Some of those fans could go back and remake their teams as new promo images for Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shiny pearl have been released which potentially reveal more Pokémon arriving for the remakes.
On the PokeLeaks Reddit forum, a user by the name of Pasiohraaim posted several Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shiny pearl promotional images for coffee lids. In the images, many Pokémon are shown that could potentially be included in the remakes. Something that has been observed is that the final location for the promotional images is simply a Poke Ball. While this isn’t something that initially grabs attention as it seems like a stylistic choice, a fan on Twitter by the name of SoulSilverArt has opened up about how it might hint at the arrival of a new Mythic Pokémon.
SoulSilverArt said previous promotional images for Pokemon games such as Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, as good as Pokemon Sword and Protect, also used a Poke Ball as the final spot for the promotional image. Mythical Pokémon such as Zarude and Zeraora were similarly hidden.
Of course, this is just fan speculation and might end up being a stylistic choice after all. There is also another strange thing about the promotional images and that is the fact that they only list Pokémon from Generation 1 and 4. A recent one Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shiny pearl the trailer showed Espeon, a Generation 2 Pokémon, following a trainer, so it’s odd that this Pokémon isn’t included in the promo art.
With the games releasing in less than two weeks, it’s strange that there are still so many questions surrounding the remakes. Fans are still wondering if Pokemon Mega Evolutions will make a comeback or not, or if all Pokémon Platinum content will be added. If any of these contents should be included in Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shiny pearl, it will likely be revealed soon.
Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shiny pearl releases November 19 for Nintendo Switch.
