Trucking software provider Motorcity Systems has integrated its automated Relay messaging software with the Eleos mobile platform to improve dispatch-driver communication and optimize workflows.

The Relay system is integrated with many third-party ELD telematics systems, mobile communication platforms and devices, as well as new and old transportation management software systems that fleets use. Relay gives dispatchers full visibility across these different devices and communication platforms, Motorcity officials said in a press release.

With the software, fleets can organize drivers into groups to track conversations and fill out digital forms on a visual timeline. Visual and audible signals alert dispatchers and drivers when new messages are received. Relay also offers real-time chat, group messaging, and a search engine.

Eleos is a fully customizable, white label workflow application used by hauliers as an in-cab and out-of-cab solution. The app unifies everything professional truck drivers need to automate trip management through a single connection and interface, such as ELD data, trip planning, detailed navigation, document scanning and more. features.

“We designed Relay to solve the communications and messaging issues encountered by hauliers and drivers with traditional TMS and back-office systems,” said Bob Stemple, co-founder and president of Motorcity Systems. “Relay removes the delay in message delivery seen in existing systems and eliminates lost messages or texts by integrating them into a unified messaging platform, thereby bridging the after-hours communication gap. Real-time integration with the Eleos workflow application is a powerful solution that solves these messaging issues while allowing dispatchers to stay engaged by having real-time visibility into driver location, hours of service and contact details within the solution.

As an integration partner of Eleos and Drivewyze, Motorcity Systems also announced that it has integrated Drivewyze through its Torque integration platform. This integration now supports the Drivewyze service activated through the Eleos workflow app. Drivewyze is a public-private bypass network of weigh stations in North America.
