Kyligence Zen provides a consistent and reusable platform to consume reliable metrics

Kyligence introduces Kyligence Zen, an intelligent metrics store platform that helps align business goals and key metrics by automating data pipelines from data lakes or data warehouses to its multi-dimensional OLAP database to deliver a cost-effective metric consistency and data confidence.

Kyligence Zen is built on Kyligence’s high-performance OLAP platform and leverages its AI-augmented engine to automatically identify datasets and metrics. It provides a catalog of metrics, management and access from APIs. The new product brings a breakthrough methodology to data teams to simplify metrics pipelines and unlock data values by empowering everyone to consume metrics, according to the vendor.

“It’s very difficult to find the right metrics from thousands of reports spread across different data systems, so data teams focus more on data pipelines but less on the true value of data,” said Kyligence CEO Luke Han. “We believe that metrics-based analytics platforms will help organizations establish alignment between business and metrics. Helping global industry leaders including banks, insurance companies and retailers, to successfully build their unified analytics platforms over the past few years, Kyligence knows these challenges well and Kyligence Zen is our answer to the data industry challenges.

Kyligence Zen is a platform for decoupling metric definition and underlying data sources, connecting to cloud storage and data lake without IT efforts, and exposing metrics as APIs to use from BI, reporting and visualization.

Data analysts who own the metrics can define their metrics once in the metrics store and reuse them consistently in BI, automation tools, business workflows, and advanced analytics.

Benefits include:

  • Business agility: With a more responsive data system, business users and developers can get rid of inefficient processes and repetitive tasks.
  • Consistent metric definition: Manage metrics centrally, avoid metric ambiguity, ensure consistent metric definition, and improve metric reuse across different companies.
  • Collaborative and Aligned: Leverage metrics to align business and management goals and improve overall organizational capabilities.
  • Reduced Costs: Empower businesses to analyze self-service metrics and help data teams get rid of repetitive ETL tasks and focus on metrics management.
