Egypt launches second tourism promotion campaign targeting Arab market

CAIRO – June 29, 2021: Under the slogan “Summer in Egypt is a different story”, the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities launched the second part of the promotional campaign for Egypt in the Arab market on the most major electronic platforms, social networking sites and major search and reservation platforms.

This is an investment in the success and positive results achieved by the first part of the campaign, which was launched in May to promote tourism in Egypt and invite Arab tourists to visit during the holiday season of summer and Eid al-Adha.

Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority CEO Ahmed Youssef explained that the new promotional content includes a short film and illustrated promotional content through which the focus has been placed on the most important elements of tourism and tourism. Egyptian archeology from the picturesque nature, distinctive sandy beaches, various tourist activities, and places frequented by Arab tourists, in addition to highlighting certain atypical tourist and archaeological areas.

Youssef added that through the presentation of the Egyptian tourism and archaeological product, the Arab tourist is invited to visit the Egyptian tourist destination, especially those who are interested in tourism, travel, adventures, marine activities, tourism family and youth tourism, with an emphasis on adherence to state-imposed precautionary measures and health security controls.

The Arab market is one of the important tourism markets for Egyptian tourism, as it accounted for over 20% of the tourist movement entering Egypt before the global pandemic.
