Call of Duty Vanguard Season 2 Leak Suggests Ground War Could Be Coming

A new leak of Call of Duty Vanguard Season 2 promotional images suggests that a large-scale game mode, such as Ground War, could be coming.

Call of Duty Vanguard is no stranger to the occasional leak, but the latest unofficial reveal of upcoming content is perhaps the biggest yet. Thanks to fame Call of Duty leaker ZestyCODLeaks, fans now have a clear idea of what COD: Vanguard Season 2 may hold its players in store, with the biggest reveal being that of a large-scale mode similar to modern warfareis ground warfare.

Although the original Twitter post containing the leaked documents had already been taken down by a DMCA, other users began retweeting an Imgur library containing the leaks. Alongside the seemingly large map – the source of the Ground War mode rumor in Call of Duty: Vanguard – the leak also contains information about three upcoming characters and at least three new guns that eagle-eyed users may have already identified.

The only real suggestion of a large-scale game mode is the fact that the upcoming map appears to be significantly larger than any of the existing maps. Call of Duty: Vanguard Plans. As for the three new characters, they are Anna, Gustavo and Thomas. However, weapons are more important for gameplay purposes. Call of Duty: VanguardSeason 2 content is set to launch on February 14, and the leaked promo footage looks reasonably well produced and on par with the existing one. Avant-garde materials of this type. Not only were they first made available through Call of Duty leaks, but their original uploads have also been removed with DMCA warnings. All of this lends credence to the validity of the leak.

Of course, it’s unclear if that’s all players would get with the launch of COD: Vanguard Season 2. For example, although Anna and Thomas have also leaked their respective biographies, nothing like that is available for Gustavo. That means there’s likely more to the official promo than is included in the leak, and Activision Blizzard may have more content ready to stream on February 14.

As with any leak, players may wish to keep a pinch of salt handy – just in case. The leaked documents certainly look valid, and they were probably produced by professionals, but it’s a good idea to wait and see what the actual announcements will look like. Aside from these leaks, it has also been revealed that COD: Vanguard would get a competitive ranked mode in February, which could coincide with the release of Season 2.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series platforms.
