Actor Nicholas Brendon, best known for starring in ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, has been hospitalized after a ‘cardiac incident’.

The 51-year-old was rushed to A&E for emergency treatment and is now focusing on medical appointments, according to his sister.

Brendon, who played Xander Harris in the 90s cult hit show, was seen in a wheelchair in a series of Instagram photos shared by his sister.

“Nicky sends his love and wanted me to apologize for not being live so much lately and to give everyone an update,” the statement read.

“Nicky is fine now but had to be rushed to the ER about two weeks ago due to a heart incident (tachycardia/arrhythmia).”
